MongoDB is an open-source, scalable, high-performance, document database with a dynamic schema written in the C++ programming language. It is known as a leader in the NoSQL database category.

As of MongoDB 3.4, arm64 builds are available and supported for Ubuntu 16.04 LTS in the community and enterprise editions. The current stable release is 4.0.2 as of August 29, 2018.
