Erlang is a programming language designed for concurrent operations. It was developed at Ericsson. The popular message queuing systems RabbitMQ and VerneMQ are written in Erlang.

Erlang/OTP 21 is the current release, as of June 20, 2018. The source code can be downloaded from a Github repository, and aarch64 binaries are available for Docker.

Erlang 18 is also available via apt-get install erlang on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
